The handover ceremony of the fourth batch of anti-pandemic supplies donated by China to Mongolia was held in Mongolia on May 26.
Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Chai Wenrui, Economic and Commercial Counselor Song Xuejun, Mongolian Health Minister Sereejav Enkhbold and other officials attended the ceremony.
Chai said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors and comprehensive strategic partners. The people of the two countries have joined hands to fight the pandemic and overcome the difficulties together, setting an example for international anti-pandemic cooperation.
China has provided anti-pandemic supplies to Mongolia several times, and has donated vaccines to the Mongolian people when its own vaccines were in short supply, which fully reflects the amity of the Chinese people for the Mongolian people, said Chai.
China will continue to uphold the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and strengthen cooperation with other countries, including Mongolia, in the fight against the pandemic. As long as the international community works together and supports each other, the pandemic will be overcome eventually, said Chai.
Enkhbold said that Mongolia and China are friendly neighbors and the mutual support and assistance of the two peoples in the joint fight against the pandemic reflects the high-level friendly relations between the two countries. The large number of vaccines provided by China has played an important role in containing the spread of the pandemic in Mongolia.
Mongolia is grateful for China's repeated help and will continue to strengthen cooperation with China in the anti-pandemic fight so that they win the fight together, said Enkhbold.
