China announced at the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in December 2015 that its government will connect 10,000 African villages to satellite TV.
Roger is a disabled person in the village of Kintele in the Republic of the Congo. Watching TV is his only way of entertainment due to mobility difficulties.
Since the satellite TV equipment was installed at his home, Roger has been able to watch a variety of TV programs every day, including his favorite Chinese movies and TV shows, and he no longer has to worry about the sudden interruption of the signal.
He thanked China for bringing digital TV to his home and making his life more enjoyable.
