On March 18, 2020, China's emergency medical supplies to France arrived at Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The pattern on the external packing of the supplies attracted people's eyes; it was a red seal specially designed by Chinese seal cutting artist Luo Pengpeng. The pattern consists of shapes of phoenixes symbolizing beautiful things and flying pigeons representing peace as well the national flags of China and France and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Two sentences are engraved in the center of the seal. The first is a Chinese saying "千里同好,坚于金石", meaning a partnership forged with the right approach defies geographical distance and is stronger than metal and stone. It is from a work of Qiao Zhou, a Chinese scholar of the Three kingdoms (220-280). The second is “Unis nous vaincrons”, a famous saying from Victor Hugo meaning united we shall prevail.
