CIDCA chairman vows to work with Fujian to promote Juncao assistance

Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Guo Ningning, vice-governor of East China's Fujian province, and Lin Zhanxi, inventor of the Juncao technology, on the sidelines of the Forum on the 20th Anniversary of Juncao Assistance and Sustainable Development Cooperation on Sept 2.

CIDCA Vice-Chairman Zhou Liujun and Wang Tianming, head of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Fujian Provincial Government, also attended the meeting. 

Luo expressed appreciation to Fujian for its strong support for international development cooperation and spoke highly of the outstanding achievements made by Lin in assisting domestic and international sustainable development through Juncao technology. 

Luo said Juncao has become the "golden brand" of China's foreign aid over the past 20 years to help with poverty alleviation, ecological protection and sustainable development. With the joint efforts of the CIDCA and Fujian, the forum was held as scheduled. The CIDCA is willing to give full play to the advantages and roles of both sides and strengthen the cooperation between the agency and the province in order to make Juncao assistance bigger and stronger and make positive contributions to the building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Guo expressed his gratitude for the strong support of the CIDCA for Fujian's foreign-related work and his willingness to continue to work closely with the CIDCA to further promote Juncao assistance, in a bid to make Juncao projects take root in more countries and promote common development.

Lin expressed gratitude for the CIDCA's strong support in promoting Juncao technology to go global, and said he will adhere to the purpose of "developing the Juncao industry for the benefit of all mankind", continue to promote international cooperation on the technology and continuously help implement the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
