Zhou said that according to Vanuatu's request, the Chinese government donated 80,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine and 80,000 syringes to Vanuatu, another example of international cooperation between the two sides in fighting the pandemic.

China is committed to supporting Vanuatu's anti-pandemic fight and restoring economic development, and this shipment of vaccines will help Vanuatu complete nationwide vaccination as soon as possible, Zhou said, adding that in the future, China will, as always, firmly support Vanuatu in tackling various challenges and achieving strong economic recovery in the post-pandemic era.

Bule said he was very pleased to welcome the second shipment of Chinese vaccines to the country, adding that the Chinese government's continued assistance to the country reflects the deep friendship between China and Vanuatu.

Bule thanked China again for its donation, which will greatly enhance Vanuatu's ability to resist the virus and safeguard the public health of its people.

China is an important development partner of Vanuatu, and Vanuatu is willing to work together with China to expand and deepen their cooperation and promote more fruitful results, Bule said.
