CIDCA spokesperson: China willing to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Philippines

Xu Wei, spokesperson for the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), said on Dec 20 that the Philippines was recently hit by Typhoon Rai, causing heavy casualties and property losses. Xu said China has expressed its deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathy to those affected by the typhoon. 

The Chinese government is willing to provide assistance to the Philippine government and people within its capacity to meet the urgent needs of the Philippines, Xu said.
