CIDCA chairman meets with UN resident coordinator in China

Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Siddharth Chatterjee, the United Nations (UN) resident coordinator in China, on Dec 22.

Luo said the CIDCA is willing to further strengthen cooperation with the UN Development System to implement the Global Development Initiatives and promote the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Chatterjee said that the UN and China have broad prospects for cooperation in the Global Development Initiative and South-South cooperation. The UN system in China is willing to play an active role in promoting full cooperation between the two sides in their efforts to achieve the UN sustainable development goals.

The two sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern.
