Guo said China is deeply sympathetic regarding Madagascar's great casualties and property losses caused by this year's hurricanes. The Chinese government, as well as Chinese enterprises and people in Madagascar, have always stood together with the government and people of Madagascar to overcome difficulties.

This shipment of materials is not only a representation of China-Madagascar solidarity and cooperation in fighting natural disasters, but also a concrete way for both countries to build a community with a shared future for mankind, Guo said.

Justin expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chinese government for its assistance. He said that over the past five decades, China, thousands of miles apart from Madagascar, has always supported the people of Madagascar with practical action during difficult times, and this significant donation reflects the brotherhood between Madagascar and China.
