Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), attended the 2022 graduation ceremony of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD) on June 25.
Deng addressed the ceremony and awarded completion certificates and degrees to the ISSCAD graduating students.
In his speech, Deng reviewed the extraordinary development process of the ISSCAD, emphasized the importance of promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, and elaborated on China's contribution to international development cooperation as well as its future outlook. He expressed his expectations and wishes to the graduating students.
The ISSCAD, established by China in 2015, had 47 master and PhD graduates this year. Since its establishment, the ISSCAD has cultivated nearly 300 high-caliber talents from over 60 developing countries, making a positive contribution to promoting South-South cooperation and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
