CIDCA vice-chairman attends 2022 International Chinese Language Education Conference

The 2022 International Chinese Language Education Conference was held in Beijing on Dec 8, 2022. Tang Wenhong, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), was invited to the conference to present the award to the global champion of the 2022 "Chinese Bridge", a Chinese language proficiency contest. 

Themed "building a new landscape, pursuing higher quality", the conference was held both online and onsite. Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan attended and addressed the conference. Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng hosted the opening ceremony and delivered the opening remarks. Around 1,800 representatives from over 90 countries and regions in governmental, academic, corporate and educational sectors attended the event, which included 11 parallel forums and 30-plus exchange programs.
