Li Keqiang Sends Congratulatory Message to Napal’s New Prime Minister Prachanda

On December 29, 2022, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council sent a congratulatory message to Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, on his assumption of office as Prime Minister of Nepal.

Li Keqiang said in the congratulatory message that China and Nepal are traditional friendly neighbors linked by the same mountains and rivers, and have always respected each other, treated each other as equals, and sincerely helped each other. In recent years, China-Nepal relations have maintained sound and steady development, and practical cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results, bringing benefits to both countries and the region at large. Li said that he is ready to work with Prime Minister Prachanda to push forward the China-Nepal strategic partnership of cooperation featuring ever-lasting friendship for development and prosperity, and bring more benefits to the two peoples.
