CIDCA vice-chairman meets with WFP deputy executive director

Zhao Fengtao, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Ramiro Armando de Oliveira Lopes da Silva, deputy executive director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), on Feb 17, 2023, during his visit to Italy.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening pragmatic cooperation in humanitarian assistance by fully tapping respective advantages, jointly promoting the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and implementing the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Xu Wei, director-general of the CIDCA's Department of International Cooperation, and Li Bo, deputy permanent representative of China to the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization, also attended the meeting.
