CIDCA vice-chairman meets with FAO director-general

Zhao Fengtao, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Qu Dongyu, the visiting director-general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), on March 9, 2023.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening cooperation between the CIDCA and FAO, jointly promoting and implementing the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Liu Junfeng, director-general of the CIDCA's Second Department of Regional Affairs, Du Wei, deputy director-general of the CIDCA's Department of International Cooperation, and Carlos Watson, FAO's representative to China, also attended the meeting.
