Work meeting held between CIDCA and Solomon Islands’ government departments

On March 20, Tang Wenhong, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), had a work meeting with general secretaries from 14 government departments of the Solomon Islands, including the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Ministry of National Planning and Development Coordination, the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labor and Immigration.

Chinese Ambassador to the Solomon Islands Li Ming, Economic and Commercial Counsellor Gong Rui, Deputy Director-General of the CIDCA's Second Department of Regional Affairs Zhang Lihua, and Special Secretary to the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands Albert Maeraga Kabui also attended the meeting.

The two sides held dialogue on specific matters related to such topics as implementing the Global Development Initiative, promoting the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and deepening bilateral cooperation.
