CIDCA vice-chairman surveys Chinese assistance projects in Kiribati

On March 25, 2023, Tang Wenhong, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), conducted a field survey of China-aided projects in Kiribati, including the seawater desalination project, the second phase of agricultural and fishery technical assistance, and the Buta bridge project.

He also held a symposium with representatives from Chinese enterprises responsible for implementing the projects.

Chinese Ambassador to Kiribati Tang Songgen, head of the economic and commercial section of the Chinese Embassy Xu Haohang, and Deputy Director-General of the CIDCA's Second Department of Regional Affairs Zhang Lihua were also present.
