CIDCA chairman meets with director-general of Mexico’s INIFAP

Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Luis Ángel Rodríguez del Bosque, director-general of the National Institute of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock Research (INIFAP) of Mexico, on April 12, during his visit to the country. 

The two sides exchanged views on such topics as promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI), strengthening bilateral cooperation on agriculture and food security, and promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation in such agricultural fields as Juncao technology, the bamboo industry and animal husbandry. A preliminary agreement was reached on jointly building a Juncao technology demonstration center in Mexico City during the meeting.

Chinese Ambassador to Mexico Zhang Run, Economic and Commercial Counsellor Zou Chuanming, Director-General of the CIDCA's Second Department of Regional Affairs Liu Junfeng, and Deputy Director-General of CIDCA's Department of Policy and Planning Li Ming also attended the meeting.
