Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Laura Elena Carrillo Cubillas, executive director of the Mexican Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AMEXCID), on April 13, during his visit to the country.
The two sides held in-depth exchanges on such topics as the joint implementation of the China-proposed Global Development Initiative (GDI), how to achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the promotion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in development fields. Preliminary agreements were reached for carrying out cooperation in human resource development and Juncao technology application.
They also signed a cooperation agreement of bilateral training courses on Juncao technology and renewable energy planning and development after the meeting.
Chinese Ambassador to Mexico Zhang Run, Economic and Commercial Counsellor Zou Chuanming, Director-General of the CIDCA's Second Department of Regional Affairs Liu Junfeng, and Deputy Director-General of the CIDCA's Department of Policy and Planning Li Ming also attended the meeting.
