CIDCA vice-chairman meets with PIF chairman and diplomatic advisor to Palestinian president

Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Chairman of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) Mohammad Mustafa and Diplomatic Advisor to Palestinian President Majdi Khaldi at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse on June 13, 2023.

Deng noted that China-Palestine relations have maintained steady and healthy development under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, yielding fruitful results in development cooperation. China is ready to work together with Palestine to implement consensuses reached between the two heads of state and advance the high-quality development of the Belt and Road, as well as promote the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative and Global Civilization Initiative, in a bid to bring more benefits to people of both countries, he said.

Mustafa and Khaldi thanked China for its long-term assistance and support in the socioeconomic development and improvement of people's livelihoods in their country. They applauded the CIDCA's efforts in promoting bilateral cooperation in various fields and pledged to closely work with China for more results in bilateral development cooperation.

The two sides also held in-depth exchanges on specific cooperation projects. Deputy Director-General of the CIDCA's First Department of Regional Affairs Wang Daohao and Counsellor of Palestinian Embassy in China Shadi Khalayleh also attended the meeting.
