CIDCA vice-chairman meets with UNICEF controller

On July 12, 2023, Zhao Fengtao, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Thomas Asare, controller of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and director of the Division of Financial and Administrative Management of the fund, who was in China to attend the first high-level conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on such topics as jointly promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, exploring new cooperation models, establishing long-term development cooperation partnership, and enhancing the quality and efficacy of bilateral cooperation.
