China-aided emergency humanitarian assistance supplies shipped to Sudan

Since the outbreak of armed conflict in Sudan, the Chinese government has paid close attention to the humanitarian situation in Sudan and provided emergency humanitarian assistance worth 10 million yuan ($1.39 million), mainly including 939 tons of rice, medical examination gloves, gauze bandages, disposable surgical gowns and non-woven medical hats. Late at night on July 15, 2023, the aforementioned medical materials were shipped from Shanghai. The 939 tons of rice are currently being processed and packed and will also be shipped as soon as possible.
