CIDCA vice-chairman meets with ambassador of Uzbekistan to China

Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Farhod Arziev, ambassador of Uzbekistan to China, on Aug 11, 2023.

Deng noted that under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, China-Uzbekistan relations have seen significant advancement, yielding positive results in development cooperation. China is ready to work with Uzbekistan to jointly implement the key consensus reached by the two heads of state, actively implement the Global Development Initiative, and strive for more achievements in bilateral pragmatic cooperation, he said.

Arziev extended his appreciation for China's long-term support for socioeconomic development and improvement of people's livelihoods in Uzbekistan, adding that Uzbekistan looks forward to learning from China's experience in such areas as poverty alleviation, innovation and industrial development, and propelling the materialization of more "small yet smart" projects in Uzbekistan that will benefit its people.

The two sides also held in-depth exchanges on bilateral relations and specific cooperation projects.
