CIDCA vice-chairman visits Bulgaria

Upon invitation, Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), led a delegation on a visit to Bulgaria from Sept 12 to 13, 2023.

During the visit, he held talks with Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Nikolay Pavlov, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency Boyko Takov, Director for Asia, Australia and Oceania Directorate of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Natalia Misheva, and President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov. They held in-depth exchanges on promoting pragmatic bilateral cooperation in such areas as green development, the digital economy, cultural exchanges and personnel training.

He also held a symposium with Bulgarian students studying in China, and visited the Demonstration Zone of Agricultural Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries.

Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria Dong Xiaojun, Political Counselor Wang Min, Commercial Counselor Kong Lingyu, and Deputy Director-General of the CIDCA’s First Department of Regional Affairs Li Junfeng also attended the activities.
