China hands over anti-ASF relief supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina

A handover ceremony of China's aid supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) against African Swine Fever (ASF) was held on Sept 14, 2023. 

Chinese Ambassador to BiH Ji Ping and Director of the Veterinary Office of BiH Saša Bošković attended the ceremony and signed the handover certificate on behalf of their respective governments. 

At the interview after the ceremony, Ji said that the anti-epidemic supplies donated by China to BiH reflect the traditional friendship between the two countries. China will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance, further expand cooperation with BiH in relevant fields, inject more certainty and positive energy into a volatile world, aiming to bring more benefits to developing countries, he said. 

President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik expressed his sincere appreciation to the Chinese government and people in his address.

Representatives from related departments of the BiH government and experts from the Veterinary School of the University of Sarajevo, as well as Chinese Counsellor in BiH Gai Guoqiang also attended the event.
