CIDCA inks MOU with Indonesian Foreign Ministry on promoting implementation of GDI

On Oct 17, 2023, at the witness of the two heads of state, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) Luo Zhaohui and Foreign Minister of Indonesia Retno L.P. Marsudi signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI) on behalf of their respective agencies.  

According to the MOU, the two sides agreed to strengthen their strategic alignment and expand development cooperation under the GDI framework, with a focus on such priority areas as green development, poverty reduction, infrastructure, human resources development and food security, to strengthen bilateral and tripartite cooperation, and jointly accelerate the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
