CIDCA chairman addresses 2023 China Economic and Social Forum

On Nov 15, 2023, the 2023 China Economic and Social Forum was held at the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) headquarters in Beijing. Luo Zhaohui, a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the CPPCC National Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech titled "Belt and Road cooperation in a new decade".

In his speech, Luo, also chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), offered insights on how to keep the momentum of Belt and Road cooperation and achieve new progress. Efforts are needed to expand coordination to align the Belt and Road Initiative with initiatives of different countries, to strengthen joint construction to link with the United Nations initiatives, to expand dimensions of Belt and Road cooperation, and to coordinate development and security to foster the global development trend, according to him.
