CIDCA chairman co-chairs meeting on China-Laos development cooperation mechanism

On Dec 6, 2023, Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), co-chaired a meeting on the China-Laos development cooperation mechanism with Khamjane Vongphosy, president of the Laos-China Cooperation Committee, in Boten, Laos.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on such topics as implementing the key consensus reached between the two heads of state, strengthening cooperation under the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative, and pushing forward existing cooperation projects, including the Luban Workshops and the China-Laos Railway. A number of cooperation documents were signed during the meeting.

Prior to the meeting, Luo and Khamjane paid a field visit to the China-Laos Mohan-Boten Economic Cooperation Zone to learn about related cooperation projects.
