CIDCA chairman surveys Chinese projects in Nauru

On Feb 1, 2024, Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), surveyed the Aiwo Harbor project and solar energy project in Nauru, both contracted by the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC).

Luo briefed the CCCC team on China-Nauru relations and his visit to Nauru. He spoke highly of the company's contribution to China-Nauru relations, and urged them to complete the projects to a high standard, operate safely and in compliance with laws and regulations, actively assist in other Chinese projects, and earnestly fulfill their social responsibilities, in a bid to benefit the local people and facilitate the development of China-Nauru relations.

The head of the local CCCC team pledged to deliver the projects with satisfying quality, and serve local economic and social development, to meet the overall diplomatic needs of the motherland and contribute to the development of China-Nauru relations.

Prior to the survey, the delegation headed by Luo also conducted field surveys of related projects at local venues, including stadiums, schools, hospitals and farms.
