CIDCA vice-chairman meets with vice-president of Laos-China Cooperation Committee

On March 7, 2024, Yang Weiqun, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with visiting Vice-President of the Laos-China Cooperation Committee Xaysana Sitthiphone.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on such topics as implementing the key consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, carrying out high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, implementing the Global Development Initiative, and advancing related bilateral development cooperation projects.

Officials from China's Foreign Ministry and the CIDCA, as well as the Laotian Ministry of Technology and Communications, also attended the meeting.
