CIDCA vice-chairman, Zimbabwean finance minister co-host first meeting of China-Zimbabwe mechanism for GDI implementation

On March 13, 2024, Vice-Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Liu Junfeng and Finance Minister of Zimbabwe Mthuli Ncube co-hosted the first meeting of the China-Zimbabwe mechanism for the joint implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI).

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on the GDI implementation and strengthening development cooperation. Officials from the CIDCA, China’s Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Commerce, and the Export-Import Bank of China, as well as the Zimbabwean Finance Ministry, Foreign Ministry and embassy in China also attended the meeting.
