CIDCA inks cooperation documents with Dominican government departments

On March 25, 2024, witnessed by the leaders of China and the Commonwealth of Dominica, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) Luo Zhaohui signed a series of bilateral cooperative documents respectively with Dominican Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience and Social Security Irving McIntyre, Minister for Housing and Urban Development Melissa Poponne Skerrit, and Minister for Health, Wellness and Social Services Cassanni Laville. 

The documents included the agreement on economic and technological cooperation, the exchanges of notes on the feasibility of agricultural technical assistance projects and on the initiation of housing renovation projects, and the memorandum of understanding on promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI).

The two sides agreed to actively expand cooperation under the GDI framework, focusing on such areas as agriculture, poverty reduction, food security, infrastructure, health care and human resources development, as well as to conduct policy dialogue, experience sharing, capacity building and practical cooperation.
