CIDCA inks cooperation documents with Nauru government bodies

On March 25, 2024, witnessed by the heads of state of China and Nauru, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) Luo Zhaohui signed a series of bilateral cooperative documents respectively with Nauruan Minister for Infrastructure Development, Environment Management and Agriculture, and Sports Jesse Jeremiah, and Deputy Minister to the President's Office Isabella Dageago. The documents include the "Exchange of Notes on Comprehensive Inspection of Development Cooperation" and the "Memorandum of Understanding on Promoting the Implementation of the Global Development Initiative".

Both sides agreed to actively expand cooperation under the framework of the Global Development Initiative, focusing on such areas as poverty reduction, food security, development financing, climate change and green development, industrialization, the digital economy, and connectivity, strengthening policy communication, and exploring cooperative projects.
