Luo said that China and Cuba are good friends, comrades and brothers with mutual trust and a shared destiny. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Cuba relations have maintained high-level development, yielding constant progress. China empathizes with Cuba's temporary challenges, and is ready to strengthen alignment with Cuba, and expand cooperation in new energy areas such as power infrastructure and solar photovoltaic energy to help Cuba overcome its electricity shortage, he added.

O Levy spoke highly of China's long-standing selfless assistance to Cuba, especially with regard to energy. Cuba is willing to learn from China's development experiences and further strengthen bilateral cooperation in power infrastructure and new energy, laying a solid foundation for Cuba's industrial, agricultural and tourism development and bringing tangible benefits to the Cuban people, he said.
