The CIDCA and the ESCAP hold great potential for international development cooperation, he said, expressing the willingness to work with the ESCAP to fully tap respective advantages and align the GDI with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the ESCAP’s six transformative actions in food, energy, digital connectivity, education, employment and social protection, climate change, and biodiversity, in a bid to jointly build an Asia-Pacific community with a shared future.
Alisjahbana spoke highly of China's development achievements and contributions to promoting international development cooperation. She pledged the ESCAP's continuous support to the GDI and its readiness to deepen cooperation with the CIDCA in areas of wide consensus, such as climate change response and energy transition, so as to achieve early harvest and help other developing countries realize their sustainable development goals.
