China provides emergency humanitarian assistance to Bangladesh

China is to send a working group to Bangladesh to provide assistance in injury assessment and help people injured in the recent unrest, Li Ming, a spokesperson for the China International Development Cooperation Agency, said on Sept 22. The decision to send humanitarian medical assistance comes in response to a request from Bangladesh. In addition to the working group, the assistance will also include a medical team dispatched for onsite treatment and necessary medical supplies.
