CIDCA chairman meets with governor of Central Bank of Cuba

Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, met with Minister-President of the Central Bank of Cuba Juana Delgado in Beijing on Nov 11.

Luo said that China and Cuba, as socialist countries, are good friends, comrades and brothers. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, bilateral relations have continued to solidify with deepened pragmatic cooperation, he said. China is ready to work with Cuba to jointly implement the key consensus reached between the two leaders, advance bilateral development cooperation in full stride, and continue to provide assistance to Cuba in the face of temporary difficulties to promote the building of a China-Cuba community with a shared future, he added.

Delgado thanked China's leaders, the Chinese government and its people for their long-term support and assistance to Cuba, especially the emergency assistance since last year. Cuba is ready to proactively work with China to push for more cooperation results, she said. 

The two sides also discussed specific cooperation matters.
