President of Cuba appreciates China’s assistance

Liu Junfeng, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, paid a courtesy call to President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel in Havana on Nov 15. 

Díaz-Canel said Cuba and China are good friends, comrades and brothers and that he appreciates the long-term support from Chinese leaders, the Chinese government and its people to the economic and social development of his country, as well as the much-needed emergency assistance. Cuba is willing to further strengthen friendly cooperation with China and jointly advance the building of a Cuba-China community with a shared future, he added. 

Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruíz and China's Ambassador to Cuba Hua Xin also attended the meeting.
