From Nov 18 to 21, Vice-Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Yang Weiqun led a team to visit Bangladesh upon invitation.
During the visit, he met with Chief Adviser of the Interim Government of Bangladesh Muhammad Yunus, finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed, and adviser on power, energy and mineral resources Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan. He also held meetings with the Bangladeshi side on promoting bilateral development assistance cooperation, and signed cooperation documents on medical and flood relief assistance.
The team also conducted onsite inspections to China-aided project venues and held meetings with representatives of the Chinese enterprises to solicit opinions.
