Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai in Beijing on Nov 28.
Luo spoke highly of Pham's contributions to the development of China-Vietnam relations and the bilateral cooperation during his term, saying that under the guidance of the leaders of both countries, the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation has been deepened for the joint building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance, opening a new chapter of bilateral relations in the new era.
The CIDCA attaches great importance to bilateral development cooperation, and is ready to jointly implement the key consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries and the bilateral cooperation documents, and continue to advance cooperation in such fields as infrastructure connectivity, people's livelihoods, and human resources development, he said.
Pham said Vietnam-China relations have maintained positive development momentum with close bilateral exchanges at all levels. Vietnam appreciates China's support for its economic and social development and improvement of people's livelihoods, he said, adding that his country is willing to jointly implement the key consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, and continue to build a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
Directors-general of the CIDCA's First Department of Regional Affairs and Department of International Cooperation Shou Hailong and Li Ming also attended the meeting.
