Luo expressed his appreciation to Pakistan for sending high-level delegations to attend the forum three years in a row. He said that the leadership of the two countries has maintained close contact and reached a series of important consensuses. The CIDCA is ready to work with the Pakistani side to jointly implement those consensuses, advance Belt and Road cooperation and Global Development Initiative (GDI) implementation, and continue to deepen bilateral development cooperation, in a bid to further benefit the two countries and their people, Luo said.

Iqbal thanked China for providing platforms of exchanges and cooperation for countries in the region and lauded China’s leadership in guiding the development of the blue economy. He said that Pakistan will strengthen cooperation with China in various fields under the Belt and Road Initiative and the GDI, and jointly build a closer Pakistan-China community with a shared future in the new era.
