On Feb 17, the Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine and the Palestinian Ministry of Social Development signed an exchange of notes on a new batch of emergency humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, a project initiated by the China International Development Cooperation Agency.

Samah Abuoun Hamad, Palestinian minister of social development, said that the Palestinian government appreciates China's just position of consistent and firm support for Palestine, and thanks China's assistance in various forms.
