CIDCA vice-chairman meets UN under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs

Yang Weiqun, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, met with Tom Fletcher, United Nations under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs, in Beijing on April 23.

The pair discussed strengthening policy communication on humanitarian assistance, jointly responding to humanitarian crises, and cooperating in advancing the implementation of the Global Development Initiative and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
