CIDCA spokesperson: China will deliver earthquake relief supplies to Afghanistan

A powerful earthquake struck Afghanistan on Aug 31, resulting in significant casualties and property losses. In response to Afghanistan's request for aid, the Chinese government has pledged 50 million yuan ($7.04 million) in emergency humanitarian assistance. This aid package, announced by Li Ming, spokesperson for the China International Development Cooperation Agency, on Sept 4, will include essential supplies such as tents, blankets, and food.
