CIDCA vice-chairman visits Ethiopia, AU headquarters

Hu Zhangliang, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, led a delegation to visit Ethiopia and the headquarters of the African Union (AU) from Sept 16 to 18.

During the visit, he held separate meetings with Ethiopian Minister of Finance Ahmed Shide and AU Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy Lerato Mataboge. They held in-depth discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation in development fields, implementing the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and advancing specific projects.

The delegation also inspected local China-aided projects and held discussions with related Chinese enterprise representatives.
