China-aided police supplies delivered to Benin

A ceremony marking the delivery of China-aided police supplies to Benin was hosted on Feb 11 in Cotonou, the economic hub of Benin, which was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Benin Zhang Wei and Beninese Minister of Interior and Public Security Alassane Seidou.

Zhang said that the donation represents an effort to implement the Global Security Initiative and China's African policy based on the principles of sincerity, real results, affinity, and good faith. He noted that this practice will strengthen China-Benin security cooperation and promote peaceful development.

Seidou praised China's generosity and support, saying this practice is a convincing example of the outstanding collaboration and mutual trust between the two countries.
