The third High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development concluded in Beijing on April 22.
More than 600 representatives of more than 140 countries, international and regional organizations, and special institutions attended the closing ceremony, either on site or online.
Chen Xiaodong, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, gave a closing address.
Chen noted that China has worked with its development partners to implement over 90 percent of the more than 180 outcomes of the previous two high-level conferences. Other outcomes are in long-term progress, he added.
Chen also highlighted that more than 50 multilateral and bilateral cooperation agreements had been signed to improve the global development cooperation mechanism.
Chen stated that at the third high-level conference, participants held in-depth discussions on topics including driving the modernization of the Global South through digitalization, enhancing climate resilience in developing countries, and raising funds for sustainable development.
He stressed that participants had formed a consensus. That was to boost Global South development through digital technology, to take common but differentiated responsibilities to promote green and low-carbon transition, and to create new fundraising models to build a fair, open, efficient and stable fundraising system for development.
The List of Deliverables for a Shared Future Actions Plan was launched at the third high-level conference, setting out 50 practical deliverables across the eight major areas of the Global Development Initiative, according to Chen.
The measures would help build platforms, pool resources, facilitate actions, and advance projects, in a bid to boost global prosperity, he added.

Yue Li, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Beijing's Haidian district; Zhang Zuqiang, deputy administrator of the China Meteorological Administration; and Kim Hun, chief partnerships officer and director general of the sectors, themes and finance solutions department of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, briefed the meeting participants on the outcomes of the three sub-forums of the conference on behalf of their hosts.
