CIDCA vice-chairman visits GDPC

Zhao Fengtao, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), made an inspection tour of the Global Development Promotion Center (GDPC) on July 27 to learn about the progress of the newly set center.

Zhao met with the GDPC's first group of staff and held a symposium with them.

Tang Ying, head of the GDPC, reported the center's work since the office was moved on July 5. She said that with the strong support of the CIDCA, the center upholds the principle of "staying clean and working hard" and strives to provide good services for the CIDCA.

Zhao fully acknowledged the achievements the center has made in its primary stage, and voiced appreciation of the staff's positive, enterprising and good spirit. He also put forward some requirements for the center on its next-stage work, which include improving the system, building a strong sense of integrity, strengthening capacity building and developing a sound working model.
