Introduction

China announced plans to establish an institute of South-South cooperation and development at the summit of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations in September 2015. The new institution aims to sum up the successful experience of China and other developing countries in governance and educate high-end talents in government management for developing countries, which is an important step taken by China to promote South-South cooperation and common prosperity.
